Finished torquing the main spar root fittings and landing gear bolts. Applied torque seal to all the fasteners.
Installed the control stick assembly. There was a gap between the cross tube flange and the pivot blocks. I installed a 3/4x1/2" rigid conduit reducing washer on each side to eliminate the gap. The ID of the washer is actually about 0.88" and just slides on the 7/8" cross tube. The OD of the washer conveniently fits within the pivot block.
Installed the flap/brake assembly on the left side.
Riveted the forward seat hinge to the spar cap and fitted the seat to determine the location for the center seat belt cutout.
Placed a nut/bolt order to Aircraft Spruce. The "Pilot" VISA card has been great, still getting free shipping on small orders, even the $10 order today. Their order system must recognize the card numbers obtained before about April 2012 and automatically remove shipping charges. I get an email back right after ordering indicating the order qualified for free shipping. Was a bit of a problem with the free shipping initially, but working great now.
